2017 COMPANY Members
Kaitlyn is returning to Stratford this summer as Julia and the Duchess in the Alumni Company’s touring production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Kaitlyn was last seen in Stratford in the Shakespeare Academy @ Stratford’s 2016 productions of Richard III (Queen Elizabeth) and Love’s Labour's Lost (Nathania). Outside of Stratford Kaitlyn has performed recently in the Maryland area in Silent Sky (Annie Cannon), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), Henry V (Mountjoy/Scroop/Governor), DNA (Leah), and the world premieres of The Eyre Affair (Tamworth/Polly) and Meet the O’Briens (Mika O’Brien). Kaitlyn is a graduate from Washington College, where she earned her B.A. in Theatre and English.
Steven hails from Kansas City, Missouri where he attends school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. As a member of the 2016 SA@S Ensemble, Jerks of Invention, Steven appeared as Richard (Richard III) and Longaville (Love's Labour's Lost). His work back home includes Antipholus of Syracuse (The Comedy Errors), Nick Bottom (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Martin Luther (Wittenberg), Creon (Medea), and Greg (Reasons to be Pretty), all at UMKC. He will be returning this fall to UMKC for his senior year to play CB in Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead.
A recent graduate of Asbury University, Chandler excitedly returns to play Valentine in the 2017 SA@S Alumni Company’s production of Two Gentleman of Verona. Previously Chandler played Clarence in Richard III and Dumaine In Love’s Labour’s Lost as a member of SA@S 2016 Ensemble, Jerks of Invention. Beyond Stratford, some of his favorite roles include Tom in The Glass Menagerie, Creon in Antigone, and Antiphons of Ephasus in The Comedy of Errors. After completing this production he is going across the lake to study Shakespeare at The Globe Theatre in London. From there, he is excited to be completing an Internship at Walt Disney World before settling down in the ever so green mountains of Asheville, North Carolina to begin the next chapter of his life as an actor.
Bridget Wagar is a senior at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. She is currently studying Acting and Musical Theatre. Bridget this past semester studying Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Bridget fell in love with Shakespeare last summer when she was a member of the 2016 Ensemble (JERKS OF INVENTION) at SA@S. Since then, she has been focusing on classical text and exploring what it has to offer. Bridget is unbelievably excited to take Two Gentlemen of Verona on the road! She cannot wait to meet the audiences and tell this story!
